PROCESSING TIME
Most orders leave our warehouse either same-day or within 1-2 business days, but please be understanding if it takes additional time to get your order shipped.
If you choose an Express shipping rate (FedEx Overnight or FedEx 2-Day) we will always prioritize your order and get it shipped as quickly as possible.
All processing and delivery times are estimates only - unexpected delays in the world of shipping are an unfortunate reality these days and we sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding if your order is delayed.
Our shipping takes place Monday thru Friday - any orders placed over the weekend or after our daily package pickup will be shipped in the order received.
DELIVERY TIMES
If you choose a shipping option that has a quoted time like "FedEx Ground (2 Business Days)" or even "FedEx Overnight (1 Day)", please be aware that it's referring to the transit time only - we still need time to pack & ship your order (see above).
Quoted transit times should also always be thought of as estimates, not guarantees. Expedited methods like FedEx 2-Day or Overnight are pretty reliable in their delivery times (hence the cost), but even the carriers don't consider them to be guarantees and won't offer refunds if the expected delivery time isn't met.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
When receiving an international order your package will need to pass through Customs in your country. All of our packages will have a Customs Declaration Form which details the items in your package and their value.
PLEASE NOTE: There are almost always additional charges to receive your package when you order from outside your own country - these charges are Customs Duties and Import Taxes which are your responsibility to pay (often before you are allowed to collect the package). The laws and taxes are different in every country and Trek Light has no way of knowing in advance what these taxes and fees will be. Please be aware of this when placing your order, we don't want you to be surprised when the package shows up and you owe additional money!

PRE-ORDERS / BACKORDERS
We occasionally offer the ability to pre-order and backorder some items on our site when they are not yet in stock. If an item you are purchasing isn't currently in stock, you'll see a note on the product page that shows the estimated ship date, and the button should say PREORDER instead of Add To Cart.
Please note that the expected ship dates are an estimate based on when we expect to receive new inventory.
Sometimes it takes longer than expected to receive inventory and sometimes it arrives much sooner - your order will always ship as soon as the inventory is in our hands!
Please note that we aren't able to split-ship your orders into multiple shipments - so if you are ordering an item that isn't currently in stock along with other items that are, your order won't ship until all items are in stock. If you're anxious to receive the in-stock items, we recommend placing separate orders so you can receive the in-stock items without delay.
